A suspenseful read in one sitting!!

This is my first book by David Clark, I haven't read the previous 3 books in the series, so I was a little lost in the storyline, but that's my own fault. Having said that, it was a great book!! Clark's writing is detailed and flows freely from line to line. He has built a great world with wonderful characters! The story was full of suspense, drama, magic and mystery! I loved the tension between Larissa and her human boyfriend...I can't imagine what it's like to be in love with your instinctive prey!! I really enjoyed reading it...so much so, that I went back and read the first 3 books to fill in the blanks I had while reading this one. It's an awesome series and I can't wait to dive into the next book!!I received a copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

So far this series gets better with each new book. I can't wait for number 5. We'll worth getting buried in the series.

Great twist here!

This is my favorite of this series so far. I was actually caught off guard with the twists and turns of the plot. The others were predictable. I'm more excited for book 5 and what comes.next for Larissa and her friends and followers!!

Great book series

I'm on book 3 but I'm already hooked. Once you get passed a few chapters in book one that seem long and drawn out it all makes sense and your hooked on the storyline. I'm glad I purchased this ebook series.

I think it’s ridiculous I thought the books were coming with this bookmark and they didn’t.

Rollercoaster Ride

These books are soooooo good I devoured them one after the other, what a rollercoaster of a read. Well written characters, really good stories, I was genuinely sad to leave Miller's Crossing
