What a great read to round up this series. If it is indeed the end, as the author has indicated, then it ended well. I will miss Maria and her story but one never knows. She just may show up somewhere in the future. I have hopes. One should read the previous two books to understand her and her companions, but it certainly is not a chore to do so. I enjoyed each and every one.
